The Hunger Games Poem

Inside a futuristic world we live
Unfair and poor our situation,
Against our will we have to assist
To the worlds most violent meeting.
If we are chosen to go to the Arena
What can we do but fight or die?
Cover our hands in innocent blood
Or have our heart stop beating.
Will the Capitol ever lose power?
Will the Districts ever be free of punishing?
Will this fight ever end?
Will Panem ever be in peace again?
How can someone think of something that cruel,
That takes innocent lives just to remind?
How can teenagers be forced,
To kill others to live?
