The Hunger Games Poem

 [Inspired on The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins]

Inside a futuristic world we live

Unfair and poor our situation,

Against our will we have to assist

To the worlds most violent meeting.

If we are chosen to go to the Arena

What can we do but fight or die?

Cover our hands in innocent blood

Or have our heart stop beating.

Will the Capitol ever lose power?

Will the Districts ever be free of punishing?

Will this fight ever end?

Will Panem ever be in peace again?

How can someone think of something that cruel,

That takes innocent lives just to remind?

How can teenagers be forced, 

To kill others to live?

The Hunger Games!

I've read the book and found it WONDERFUL... and then, last friday I went to see the movie...!

The Hunger Games cast!

 I liked the movie, but I got disappointed because they had changed too many things from the book...
Here are some things which I didn't like in the movie: (DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEE THE MOVIE!)

• How she gets the mockingjay pin (in the book, she got it from Madge! and she's not even in the movie...)
• she didn't shout Peeta's name when they announced the new rule in the Games.
• the cornucopia was weird.
• the ending wasn't clear (I wouldn't have understood the ending if I hadn't read the book before..) The last conversation between Peeta and Katniss.... well, it was only like two sentences in the movie, and it didn't really show what happens on the book... I was really disappointed by that...
• They don't talk or show Peeta's new leg in the end!
• Also, I get that the camera was representing the protagonist's point of view, but it got way too shaky and I got dizzy at some points.
•  And the makeup... sometimes Peeta was covered in mud and Katniss had perfect skin with a little scratch on her forehead... 
• In the book, Katniss and Peeta were constantly kissing... in the movie just twice! and one of those times was on the cheek...
  
  
  
  But anyway... besides these points^^ it was entertaining and breath-taking!

But well... as everyone says... The book is always better than the movie!! :P
